GoMVB Recruit Dante Barone Reclasses to HUN School of Princeton
MANALAPAN, NEW JERSEY – GoMVB recruit Tight End / Defensive End, Dante Barone, recently announced reclassing to the HUN School at Princeton.
“Thankful for all of my friends, coaches, and experiences at Manalapan (High School) through these past few years, and I am excited to announce that I will be reclassifying to the Class of 2023 and attending The Hun next year!” tweeted Barone.
One of the most sought after 2022 players in New Jersey, Barone’s reclassing to the ’23 class means he’s added an extra growth year to his 6’3”, 242 lbs. frame. He’ll also be shooting for a higher SAT score which already stands at a 1390. GoMVB predicts Barone will come in at about 6'4" 250 lbs. for his High School senior season at the HUN and his SAT should be in the 1400s.
“We’re excited to see how Dante develops as both a player and a student at the HUN,” said Coach Pat Marzo. “He’s already made a name for himself while playing with Manalapan. His combination of quickness and strength could never be matched by opposing offensive tackles.
As a Class of 2022 player, Dante had already received offers from West Point (Army) and Delaware State, but reclassing to 2023 was a better personal choice for Dante’s future as both an athlete and a scholar.
